Studio Diarrhea - Part IV
Continuing from Part III of DCXVII, this entry explores more placeholder vocal ideas, all of which are the pinnacle of maturity and artistic taste. One of these days, we'll write temp lyrics with a different theme. Just not any time soon. We do what comes naturally.

You can also get an insider look into the cramped confines of Randal's bedroom closet in which all vocals are recorded. Guitars can't even be held normally. There is a nice selection of Dickies and Old Navy buttondowns in there along with a charred pair of pajama pants.

This video also offers insight as to why Mark is completely desensitized to people laughing at him.

Studio Diarrhea - Part III
The third studio video is now up on YouTube and has taught me a valuable lesson: to never be in front of the camera again. Of course I'll probably be in the next one of these things. If my appearance wasn't the only means of introducing this thing, the footage would be at the bottom of the ocean.

But yeah this diary entry clearly exhibits Randal's inner Shakespeare, penning the featured prose. I've heard concerns that the temporary words may overshadow any permanent (serious (boring)) lyrics but that hasn't been the case with another recently completed song, a subject of an upcoming video, also featuring scatological poetry. "Studio Diarrhea" is becoming more and more fitting...

Studio Diarrhea - Part I
The first in a series of video journals documenting our recording is now up on YouTube. Sit back as Rick whisks you away on a wondrous journey through his bedroom. Bask in the untold glory of Tom's apartment. Jerk off to all the comic book and Star Wars memorobilia. We'll keep sharing more and more behind the scenes footage, whether or not it is compelling, as this entry clearly exemplifies. To further illustrate how indiscriminate we are with footage, one video is under a minute and features a dog. Stay tuned for more. And speaking of staying tuned, your friendly neighborhood assholes (us) will be doing a radio interview tonight that you can hear online via www.hearnewbrunswick.com. Along with shamelessly plugging Friday's Waretown Firehall gig and talking about how awesome it is not having a complete lineup or being able to play shows full time, we'll also be previewing a brand new song titled something we haven't thought of yet. You can also contact the station through AIM via HearNewBrunswick.

Acoustic Songs on SpewTube
A song from each of the recent acoustic performances is up on YouTube for your tubing pleasure. Depending on the response to these things, we may do more. Otherwise we'll smash our instruments and go to law school.

It took this long to realize it'd probably be a good idea to conclude these videos with our URLs. We are geniuses.

ACOUSTIC SHOWS ANNOUNCED
Two acoustic shows have just been announced featuring the fabulous Ward Brothers. 9/13 at Belmar Firehall with Michale Graves from the Misfits and 9/18 at the Hot Topic in Monmouth Mall. Yeah. Pretty weird.

Along with a good chunk of unplugged and rearranged Divinity songs, we'll also be doing some new acoustic songs and covers from such rockin heavies as Pat Benetar and Alison Krauss.

True story.

Live Videos on YouTube
Even though you could’ve found all sorts of live videos on YouTube, we’ve just uploaded the first officially sanctioned Divinity footage. What’s the difference? Not much really. Except that for once we didn’t think we sucked too much at this one show in Vermont. These have the DD seal of approval which is embossed with gold leaf.

This place looked like something in between a dilapidated art studio and an abandoned storage facility. In a good sense. The band name was changed to Sasquatch for one night. We’d like to thank Awesome’s moustache for putting the night together.

We’ll add some more videos soon – a bit more live stuff but mainly behind the scenes material loaded with hard-hitting issues and edge-of-your-seat action. Like cancelling a studio session to fix Randal’s car battery and recording acoustic guitars on Tom’s shitter. The key topics of today.

In one video, Jeff Brogan from End of an Era taunts some mentally challenged kids. Tom laughs so hard it sounds like he’s choking. If Brogan doesn’t let us post that then we’re not giving their hand truck back.
